Overview

Hamza is currently an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, where he assists the firm’s partners in research and litigation in constitutional, administrative, civil, corporate, and commercial litigation. He was recently part of the firm’s team that challenged the 2025 amendments to the Legal Practitioners’ and Bar Councils Act and assisted his seniors with research on fundamental rights jurisprudence in India and Pakistan. Before joining Common Law Chambers, Hamza interned at the Advocate General’s Office, where he assisted with research, drafting, rule-making, and other constitutional matters. 

Hamza holds an LLB degree from the University of Punjab, graduating with a First Division in Law. He also holds a postgraduate diploma from Punjab University Law College in Constitutional and Environmental Law. Hamza has a keen interest in Constitutional law, history, and intersectional theory.
