Wajahat is the firm’s head of litigation with more than a decade of experience. He is considered an expert in civil litigation having successfully represented clients in a range of contentious matters across Pakistan’s court hierarchy. Along with his civil practice, Wajahat has built extensive experience representing clients in commercial, banking, constitutional, taxation, petroleum, and telecommunication disputes. He regularly appears before the Lahore High Court on behalf of major corporations, government regulators, and private individuals in a wide range of complex matters. His experience also includes advising and representing clients in major white-collar crime disputes, where he has successfully argued trials before the National Accountability Bureau.
Wajahat has previously worked at some of the biggest law firms in Pakistan where he was instrumental in managing their litigation portfolio. This includes Mohsin Tayebaly and Co, RIAA Barker Gillette, and Axis Law Chambers.
Successfully argued and concluded over 60 complex disputes before various forums across Pakistan in 2024.
Successfully represented a prominent multinational petroleum company in a major tax dispute before the High Court.
Successfully represented multiple prominent politically exposed persons in white-collar crime trials across Pakistan.
Part of the legal team that successfully defended the constitutionality of the Punjab Revenue Authority.
Represented domestic and foreign clients in disputes concerning the application of foreign arbitration agreements in Pakistan.
Currently representing major political figures before multiple Election Tribunals.
Has concluded numerous civil trials, having represented clients at all stages of civil trials on complex questions of law.
Currently representing a major corporation in an antitrust dispute before the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
