Overview
Ali is an Associate at Common Law Chambers, where he assists the firm’s partners across a wide range of practice areas, including constitutional, civil, commercial, criminal, and election law. His work spans both contentious and non-contentious transactional matters. He regularly contributes to the firm’s extensive legal research and drafting demands across diverse subject areas.
Before joining Common Law Chambers, Ali was an intern at Axis Law Chambers where he gained experience in civil litigation and corporate transactions. Ali has also gained experience as an intern at the Federal Tax Ombudsman’s Secretariat where he conducted research and assisted in drafting recommendations in taxation and customs matters.
Currently Ali is a Teaching Assistant at Universal College Lahore (UCL) where he mentors students on criminal and administrative law.
Ali holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of London where he graduated with a 2:1 classification, earning one distinction and multiple merit-based scholarships.
